BBM Teams with Bukalapak to Launch BBM Shopping

Enables one of Southeast Asia’s Largest Marketplaces to Continue Expand its Retail Footprint to Reach 64+ Million BBM Mobile Active Users in Indonesia

Jakarta, Indonesia – 2 December, 2016 – Creative Media Works, a stand-alone consumer-focused social networking business operating as BBM, has teamed up with Bukalapak, one of Southeast Asia’s largest e-Commerce marketplaces to offer BBM Shopping to consumers across iOS and Android platforms in Indonesia.

Slated to launch in early December 2016, BBM Shopping will offer consumers access to millions of products, and special offers to only BBM users in a streamlined, mobile-friendly shopping experience with secured payment all within BBM.

For Bukalapak’s customers, they can seamlessly link their existing online account to BBM Shopping. First time users are only required to set up their account once, without the need to re-login for subsequent usage to make payments all within the BBM environment. With BBM Shopping, Bukalapak’s vast pool of merchants will also be able to reach over 64 million BBM mobile active users in Indonesia.
